State College is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and State College follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Food was bland. We ordered Veg Vindaloo was supposed to be spicy rather it was just all tomato sauce. Onion Kulcha was good and fresh.

Masala Palace was a disappointing experience, mainly because both the service and the food missed the mark. The restaurant seemed understaffed, with one person apparently handling the roles of host and waiter. It took quite a while before we could even ask for water. When we placed our order, he warned us that the Chicken 65 was very spicy and could not be toned down. Unfortunately, when it arrived, the dish was not very well-spiced, and it did not resemble a typical Chicken 65 in flavor or preparation. The Shrimp Tawa Masala was also disappointing. It tasted like it had been made in a sweet ketchup-based sauce, which was neither authentic nor enjoyable. The one bright spot was the naan basket, which was actually good and had a nice variety of naans. Overall, this was not a restaurant I would recommend. The service was weak and the main dishes were underwhelming.

Nice authentic Indian cuisine. Lunch buffet every day and supper buffet Fri-Sun. Traditional menu also available. Be sure to check hours as they close in mid afternoon. No street parking on block, so a little walking is necessary.

I was glad to find Indian food especially vegetarian in State College. Ordered vegetable makhani, roti and mango kheer. It was delicious, finger licking. Two days later ordered malai kofta, Kashmiri naan, vegetable pakoras and the delicious mango kheer. Large portions comes with rice, easily serves 2. Packing is durable and food arrives hot. Ordered on Uber Eats. Will definitely try other vegetarian meals.

A great place to enjoy the Indian Cuisine with all its diverse dishes and intensive use of spices. You can have a lunch buffet with your friends or family for an affordable and a reasonable price and with a large variety of delicious food. Great location, friendly staff and great service.
